Dr. Pratapsinh B. Salunke is an Associate Professor at Maharashtra National Law University [MNLU] Mumbai. He also holds additional charge of Officer on Special Duty (Campus Development) & Associate Dean. He also held charge of In-charge Registrar and Head of the Department, MNLU Mumbai. He is a recognised Ph.D. Supervisor at MNLU Mumbai.

Before joining MNLU Mumbai, he was an Associate Professor and Head of the Department, School of Law, Christ (Deemed to be University) Pune Lavasa Campus. Previously he has worked with D.E.S. Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune, M.M.M. Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune, AWES Army Law College, Pune. He has also worked as In-charge Principal of D.E.S. Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune and AWES Army Law College, Pune.

He has eighteen years teaching experience at undergraduate and post-graduate level. He has worked as a member of Curriculum Development Committee, Faculty of Law and Commerce, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, NMIMS Mumbai, MIT-World Peace University. He is an honorary fellow of reputed research institute Indian School of Political Economy, Pune.

Areas of Research

Books & Publications

He has published 20 research papers in reputed Law Journals of national and international repute. He has published four chapters in edited books published by publishers of international repute besides an editor of a book. He is an author of a book titled “Constitution Eclipsed : Retold Memoir of the Emergency Proclamation” published by All India Reporter. He has edited two books, ‘Child Independent Lawyer Towards Child Centric Justice’, published by CAPT Bhopal and ‘AI Privacy, Security & Intellectual Property Rights’ published by All India Reporter.
